Thankful (PMSMO6) Adrienne

I always need a thank you card, so I was really happy to hear that this month's challenge was to make a thankful card. I just got a fun package in the mail from my Aunt Debbie, so I knew exactly for whom I was making this card. She is trendy, into animal prints (like me!) and her favorite colors are teals/rich blues.I like how it turned out, and I hope she does too!
I realized after I designed the card that I didn't have any PMS "thankful" sentiments, so I just used this one. I like how the flowers on the ends tie in with the Moody for Dragonflies.

Thankful (PMSMO6) Jessica

I have so much to be thankful for in my life and while much of it can be counted, the things that bring me the most joy in life can't be quantified.

This is my first time using a digi and it didn’t print as crisp as I would have liked.  I guess I just need more practice.  I love the colors in this paper, especially for the season. I am grateful for the means that allow me to participate in such a gratifying activity!

Neon Green (PMSMO5) Jessica

I love these Makeover Challenges, and this one was no exception. But I was a little stumped in getting started as we don't have *too* much neon green lurking around our craft room.I do love how neon colors pair with zebra print, so I decided to use that as my card base. I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out:
I also decided on using Caliope because she is really cute, and I don't see much of her around. I love the quote about stars which reads: "If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you've made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand." I think it complements Caliope with Stars perfectly.

Neon Green (PMSMO5) Adrienne

I was so excited to get my Baby Boris stamp and sentiment in the mail, just in time for this challenge. I knew I would use him, the next thing to work out was how to incorporate the neon green...
I just love how he turned out in contrast to the neon green background. I decided to try paper piecing again on a more difficult subject. So far so good! I don't know if I'll use it as often as prisma colors, but I'm definitely getting the hang of this technique. Here's Boris again, he's such a little cutie!!

Back to School (PMSM04 Challenge) -Jessica

I love this little cutie, she might as well be named Jessica because I can totally relate. I may not be very old, but I still don't want to grow up, and I love to get into things with my hands more than with tools like paintbrushes!

PMSMO4 "Back to School" Adrienne

Outside
Inside
I made this card for PMSMO4 Challenge "Back to School" I love this season, especially for the apples! Cider mills, apple orchards, the crisp air, the yummy treats...made from apples! And what is the best way to show a teacher you appreciate them when school starts? Give 'em an apple! This is the first time I tried paper piecing, and I'm getting the hang of it. I really like how it turned out, and I'll be using it again...and again!
