Phew! It's been a long time since posting a creation. I've been reeling from the recent departure of my fellow crafter, but I've stamped up a few cards in her absence and figured I'd better get them on here. They're mostly birthday cards, as I've been working on my goal of getting one to everyone this year.
Here we have some boy birthday cards. Hopefully they were "manly" enough!
And some girly ones:
This sentiment about growing old is my fav:
I loved making Mother's Day cards:
As well as a baby card for a shower:
And of course, you can't have enough silly, confection-loving, monster cards!

The Love Bot
I LOVE this guy.
He's so perfect for Valentine's day!
I'm using him for an anniversary card, but thought it was an appropriate post for this holiday of love!

Eye Surgery
Our Grandpa underwent surgery for his retina last month, and we decided Drek monster would be a fun way to let him know we were thinking about him and hoping things went well:

Oh No, You're Sick?! Yay, I Get To Make A Card!
I love that making cards serves a purpose, but when it's for someone in the hospital I'd rather not have that reason for making a card... Hopefully I can a least bring some cheer to someone in an unfortunate circumstance.

I absolutely Love this little sour puss!
In case you cant read the text easily it is a great quote I found by Terri Guillemets:
"Weather is a great metaphor for life- sometimes its good, sometimes its bad, and there's nothing much you can do about it but carry an umbrella."

I can't stop using Argus with his teddy, and the saying is so cute!

More with Mom
Mom needed a couple of cards for upcoming events, so I insisted she come learn more about the cool things we could do, and we had so much fun in the craft room! First we made a baby card for my cousin Rachel to congratulate her in the arrival of her 1st baby.

Inside we stamped a happy saying to keep the irony going: "I hope your birthday is filled with sunshine and laughter"
Monstrous Thanks
Well now that Adrienne's party is over and the thanks have been sent and received I wanted to post all the cards I made to support the cause! I had so much fun making all of these with different color schemes and shapes! Argus is definitely one of the best monsters!

The Mash... The MONSTER Mash!
"We were working in our lab late one night, and suddenly, to our surprise, our PMS monster stamps came alive!!" Welcome to SSS and our monster mashing creations. We're so happy to participate in a blog hop for the VERY FIRST TIME!! You should have arrived from Rachel's blog, and if not, feel free to start on over at the Paper Makeup Stamp blog.
Here's Adrienne: I LOVE the monsters at PMS, and I will not rest until I have them all. I'm even having a monster themed birthday party for my oldest child this weekend, which was inspired by these stamps. I got ahead of the game by creating the thank you cards early, so I was able to get two birds with one stone on this one:
Here's Jessica:
I am so excited to be a part of this blog hop! The monsters are my favorite! I haven't seen many examples of Lois and Louie, so I went with them to start. I picked a shaped card, but it was white, so I scrubbed some pink ink around the edges with a cotton ball.
I cut up a pop can and sent it through my big kick in an embossing folder, then used my nestability for the shape. Inside I added the punch line:

Scrubbies!
Yesterday I helped Mom make a card for her brother-in-law, Jeff, who makes these really great dish scrubbies out of tulle. I love that it looks like watermelon!
She's sending him a card with supplies for him to make more so she can sell them for him. I love how we customized the card to fit the circumstance! Drek is holding a crochet hook we made out of wire and a scrubby!
PS- let me know if you want some of these fantastic scrubbies, they work great and can be made in seasonal colors!
