Baby Thank-yous

After M's first birthday party, I had a couple thank yous to mail out. I owe Jessica the biggest thank you for helping me make all these cards! I did the first two, and Jessica did the baby elephants:

So cute and fun! We'll just have to have another party when O turns three so we can make more fun cards. Can't wait!

Holding on to Summer

Fall is here and although it is my favorite season I am determined to keep the bright colors of summer alive.  Using my 40% off JoAnn's coupon I got a fun stamp set with all these stamps and more in it.    

Yay for Fiskars!  Yay for ribbon!  Yay for rhinestones!  Yay for glitter glue!

I love this little cutie, she might as well be named Jessica because I can totally relate. I may not be very old, but I still don't want to grow up, and I love to get into things with my hands more than with tools like paintbrushes!

I made this card for PMSMO4 Challenge "Back to School" I love this season, especially for the apples! Cider mills, apple orchards, the crisp air, the yummy treats...made from apples! And what is the best way to show a teacher you appreciate them when school starts? Give 'em an apple! This is the first time I tried paper piecing, and I'm getting the hang of it. I really like how it turned out, and I'll be using it again...and again!
